Ignacio leads the studio as the head sound designer, sound supervisor and re-recording mixer. With an Emmy® nomination under his belt, his credits range from narrative to documentary, from feature to episodic and short-form advertisement.
Based in New York, he works for multiple platforms, Discovery, Hulu, A&E and TLC among others, mixing TV shows such as 90 Day Fiance, MTV Cribs and The Proof is Out There: Military Mysteries. Recent feathers in his cap include serving as the sound designer for Joshua Zeman's gripping Netflix series The Sons of Sam, and the sound designer for the critically acclaimed feature film Retrograde directed by Mathew Heineman, for which he got a News & Doc Emmy® nomination for Outstanding Sound. Ignacio has also been the music editor for Jon Batiste’s documentary American Symphony, for which he was nominated to a MPSE Golden Reel Award. His independent productions collaborations have been screened at numerous internationally acclaimed film festivals such as Cannes, Tribeca, Doc NYC, Sitges and Telluride Film Festival.
In the realm of advertising, he has created soundtracks for international brands such as Conde Nast, Mastercard, American Express, Adidas, Vogue, Lancome and FC Barcelona, to name a few.
